Bringing YVR’s Crystal Celebration to Life

We partnered with Vancouver International Airport (YVR) to bring its annual employee celebration to life in downtown Vancouver. The event celebrated YVR being named Best Airport in North America by Skytrax for the 15th time, while recognizing people whose work and dedication made that achievement possible. 

Every element of the celebration was shaped to create a welcoming and memorable experience for employees. Rather than simply hosting a milestone event, YVR focused on appreciation, belonging, and the important role employees play in the airport’s success, while reflecting the diversity of its staff and the community it serves.

Accessibility and inclusion were central to the planning. A dedicated low sensory space gave guests a quieter place to pause, recharge, and rejoin the celebration when ready. This thoughtful design choice helped ensure more employees could participate comfortably and feel considered throughout the experience.

Diversity was also reflected in the programming, with local talent and inclusive entertainment. The event also incorporated a social impact activation that invited employees to help direct donations to organizations supported by YVR.

Together, these elements made the celebration more than a recognition event: it became a reflection of YVR’s values, honouring its people while reinforcing its commitment to community and shared impact.
