Rize Brings a New Kind of Student Residence to Burnaby Mountain

Congratulations to our client, Rize Properties, on the completion of Koto, the company’s first student housing rental project.

Located at UniverCity, just a five-minute walk from the SFU campus, the project provides modern student rental homes designed to support the evolving needs of today’s post-secondary students.

Koto offers 168 fully furnished rental homes with 282 bedrooms in a mix of studio, one-, two-, three-, and four-bedroom layouts. The project is the first at UniverCity to offer four-bedroom homes, providing students with a new option for community-focused living.

The project has placed a strong emphasis on design with architecture by RWA Group Architecture and interiors by Ste Marie, the studio renowned for creating some of Vancouver’s most acclaimed hospitality spaces. All furnishings are provided by Article Furniture, known for its modern, durable, and stylish design.
